National Research Week in Higher Education

Welcome to the Third iteration of the National Research week. This year's research week theme "Research Beyond Frontiers" is a timely one, where we as a nation chart our slow but steady climb in the quest to build a strong research culture in the higher education sector.

Research week is a celebration of the research that has been and continues to be carried out in Mauritius. It in essence celebrates research carried out by the academic community in general on this island republic. It is an opportunity for staff, students and the community to see the exciting research and talent of this nation within the academic settings. One of the highlights of National Research Week are the awards, for the Best presenter in each educational domain and an award for the best poster.

Let's celebrate, be inspired and learn from the research in Mauritius. The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) takes pleasure in inviting all those who are interested in hearing and engaging with the rich body of multi-disciplinary research being undertaken right here in Mauritius to join us from 31 March – 03 April 2020.
